Blockchain is a technology that records events through a distributed and recurring system, and its application for the certification of competencies or knowledge is transforming university teaching. Its implementation to try to solve some underlying problems of the educational system is in the process of develop- ment, but it has already generated two lines of personalization of training: one based on curricular itineraries a la carte and another based on global subjects adapted to each person. This chapter summarizes the current state of development of these new methodologies, within the framework of the application of Blockchain in Educa- tion.
