Chatbots en educación. Tendencias actuales y desafíos futuros.

This book, developed within the framework of the project "Analysis of the effects of providing feedback supported by digital monitoring technologies on soft skills" (PID2019-104285GB-I00, funded by the State Research Agency), presents the analysis of four experiences using chatbots in teaching and learning processes as support for students.

Specifically, and after an introductory section, the second chapter presents a chatbot prototype for a didactic unit on technology in higher education. The third chapter presents an experience of co-creation and implementation of a chatbot in the area of social sciences in higher education. In the fourth chapter, another case of the chatbot is presented for the development of competencies, specifically for the self-regulation capacity of students. Finally, and in the same line, in chapter five, an experience of using the chatbot oriented towards the self-regulation of learning as a facilitator of planning, development, and reflection of students within the same project is presented.
