Tecnologías digitales para transformar la sociedad (V.3)
The book is the result of a set of reflections carried out during the development of the subject "Uses, possibilities and limits of information and communication technologies", of the Social Education degree, at the University of Barcelona. The subject aims to reinforce the critical character of the student body in relation to the use of digital technologies, but at the same time provide them with digital skills that enable a comprehensive and effective use of these.

Digital technology incorporates improvements in the teaching and learning process in Higher Education. With the aim of disseminating a reality that can inspire and drive new future practices, successful experiences from the University of Barcelona are presented. The 11 selected cases are considered emerging practices because they use technology for pedagogical purposes appropriate to the context.

As a result of the participation in the research project Standardization of STEM and Coding Trainings, within the Erasmus+ program, we analyze the situation of STREAM in Catalonia, considering the support actions, promotion and impulse developed from the administration.

The possibilities of digital communication for resistance and transformation in the educational sphere are analysed, based on the case of aFFaC (Federated Associations of Families of Pupils of Catalonia) on Twitter. From a mixed approach, we present an investigation of the messages produced over 5 years (6,399 tweets).
