How does feedback contribute to student learning? Developing and assessing students’ competencies in a Master’s degree.

Even having designed an academic program based on competencies when students finish this program they are usually not aware of their competency development. Feedback can act as a promoter of this competency development but not all types of feedback can do it. It has to meet some characteristics, which requires that students adopt an active role once they get this feedback.

Aprendre a aprendre: una experiència amb la funcionalitat Wiki i l’eina taller del Moodle

The purpose of the article is to present two activities of continuous evaluation that were proposed to students who took the subject Political Economy in a group of the degree of Management and Public Administration (Faculty of Law, University of Barcelona) in the course 2020-2021. These activities were designed within the framework of the R&D project “Analysis of the effects of the provision of feedback supported by digital monitoring technologies on transversal competencies” (ref. PID2019-104285GB-I00).
