TKCOM: LMI in China
In the framework of the project "Building up Chinese Teachers Key Competences through a Global Competence-Based Framework" (586415-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) some members of the LMI have traveled to Chongquing (China) to participate in the closing of the training activity and in the research team meeting from July 23 to 29, 2018.
PhD. Ricardo Iglesias has participated in the International Colloquium "Art after the end of the world" (Palace of Fine Arts - CDMX) with the keynote address "On the human and the post-human. Art and new technologies.
The seminar International Scenario of Teacher Education within a Competence-based Approach will be held on November, the 29th. The seminar will be held at Palau de les Heures at Campus Mundet of the University of Barcelona. You can check the programme in the following link: https://goo.gl/7NFAiS
Laura Pons, a member of the research group LMI, defended her Ph.D. "School-based Conditions and Teacher Education for CLIL Implementation" on Wednesday, October the 31st. Laura defended the thesis in English to apply for the European certificate. The PhD Supervisor is the Main researcher of the research group, Dr. Elena Cano. The members of the committee were Dr. David Marsh, Dr. Teresa Lleixà and Dr. Josep Coral. Dra. Pons obtained the Excellent qualification.
The LMI was present at the International Congress on Visibility of Women in the Media organized by the EHU (University of the Basque Country) on October 17 and 18 with three communications: Dr.
Dr. Joan Frigola-Reig (@janfri), member of the LMI research group (@lmi_net), attended XXIX Communication and Health Congress (@congresosCyS) organized by the Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine (@GPCYS) in Santiago de Compostela from 10 to 13 October.
The proposal Standardization of STEM and Coding in Education (SOSACT) has been accepted at Erasmus+ KA201 2018 call. This is a project coordinated by the Ministry of National Education of Turkey, and the IRE participates through a collaboration of two research groups: Learning, Media & Social Interactions (LMI) and Didàctica de la Història, la Geografia i altres Ciències Socials (DHIGECS).
